The player’s primary goal is to reach the top of the final clock tower by progressing through a series of smaller towers, each containing multiple floors and a boss at the top with a thematic twist. The story presents itself in a seen-not-told manner that requires players to take in pieces of the world to understand what has happened to the boy. Revita opens with the player controlling an amnesic child who has awakened at a mysterious metro station. through defeating bosses or champion enemies that drop relics and/or pickups through tickets, which you select at the beginning of the run at the cost of your health, these tickets could range from pickups, stat ups or just relics. Through sacrificing your health to get relics at mother statues and chests etc. there are 3 main ways you can get relics in Revita. Revita is just about as simple as a rouglike gets, you clear a room and go to the next There is a huge gimmick that this game entales though and the main selling point of the game, which that point being that your health is your currency in-game (which I have never seen in a roguelike before unless in a specific situation like devil deals in tboi) the only way you can buy things from shops or get relics at all is through spending your health. A really excellent rougelike well worth your time. Revita is a brilliant roguelite platformer featuring impactful mechanics and a fun gameplay loop complemented by a great combat system. On the way they will discover a melancholic world filled with masked characters, monsters and perhaps the answers that the child seeks. A nameless child with no memories awakens in the metro with only a vague sense of purpose and desire to reach the distant clocktower, hoping to find answers at the top. Travelling from station to station where elevators take you towards the heights of an ever changing clocktower. Explore an underground subway line infested with monsters and filled with colourful characters who will help you on your journey.
